Our goal is to provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for your infants and toddlers. Our nursery workers play an essential role in making God’s love real to your children. What better way can children learn of God’s love than when their physical and emotional needs are met through love, cuddling, being sung to and played with? We view the nursery as a ministry opportunity, not babysitting.
The purpose of our nursery is to meet the needs of the youngest people in our congregation in such a way that they will feel loved, valued and will want to follow Christ. To do this we serve them:
• Physically - Provide a safe environment for each child
• Emotionally - Help each child think of this as their church – a place where people love them
• Spiritually - Teach them about God and have their first associations of God be positive ones. Our desire is to partner with parents to train up children who love and follow Jesus with all their hearts.

I am Amanda Searles the Nursery Director at FamilyNaz. I work for Hart Medical Equipment as the Reimbursement Administrator. I have grown up in the Nazarene church and have been apart of FamilyNaz since 2015. My husband, Mike, and I have 2 girls, Madelynn and Raelynn. I have grown up under the children’s ministry of Pastor Gary and Miss Linda and have found that as an adult now, I love serving in children’s ministry. Children are precious and important.
Coming to know Jesus at a young age is a gift l. I want that for my girls and all the kids I serve.

When you have four kids and seven pets, supporting our Nursery Program comes as second nature. As a busy mom herself, Krista takes great joy in being able to give back to the parents of our church family. One of Krista’s goals for our Nursery is to create a loving and safe space for our little ones. Krista and her husband Mike enjoy watching their oldest daughter dance. They help coach one of their other daughter’s softball teams, love visiting family in Tennessee and camping.
