There are several opportunities to serve others outside the walls of the church. We live out Matthew 25 by serving locally and around the world. We have partnerships with Nazarene Missions International as well as local ministries such as Flint Eastside Mission. We have teams that travel each fall to Jolo WV, send150+ shoe boxes a year through Samaritans Purse, and have a active children’s ministry that meets each week and serves within our local community.
Matthew 25:35-40 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

Missions President
Mary’s passion for missions and sharing the Gospel, is evident in everything that she does. She speaks with empathy and zeal when sharing about the next missions project that we will be supporting as a church family. Mary enjoys attending local events, coordinating fundraising walks, and hosting mission dinners. Mary and the amazing Missions Team takes great time and detail in all her projects so that those who participate can come to experience the cause that they are working for. She not only spearheads all of Family Naz’s mission activities, but Mary takes great pride in caring for her four kids and husband (Jim). Mary and Jim also share the message of Christ with others through their work designing and producing faith-based t-shirts.
